You can delete your Volumeal account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app or by writing to us. Deletion is permanent.
1. From the app (recommended)
- Open Volumeal.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap “Delete my account” and confirm.
Your account and your data (profile, journal, photos) are then erased immediately from our servers, along with your authentication account.
2. By email (without the app)
If you no longer have the app installed, send a request to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account, with the subject “Account deletion”. We process the request after verifying your identity.
3. Data deleted
Deletion permanently erases:
- your account and your authentication identifier;
- your profile (age, sex, height, weight, goals);
- your food journal and your estimate history;
- your meal photos stored in the cloud.
None of this data is kept or resold after deletion.
4. Timing & retention
Deletion done from the app is immediate. For an email request, processing happens within 30 days at most. Some information strictly necessary to comply with legal obligations (for example subscription transaction records handled by Apple or Google) may be retained by those providers in accordance with their own obligations.
